Kelowna Newborn Photography | Life with Baby Willow

We all know that life with a newborn is anything but clean clothes, a good nights rest and cute headbands and fancy shoes. But when we do find a bit of time to “stop and smell the roses”, or in newborn terms, enjoy their tiny little fingers and toes, and that incredible smell from the top of their little newborn heads we can easily see the beauty and worth of life with a newborn baby.

Spending time with new parents Ainsley and Shane and new baby Willow in Kelowna last weekend was a testament to this. Laid back in nature, this is what they wanted. When things weren’t hectic, or chaotic, where they could simply sit with one another, kick back and smell the little baby smells. Shane enjoyed a beer and cuddles and Ainsley relaxed while breastfeeding her beautiful baby girl, all while letting all the stress of what needs to get done go to the wayside.

It was the perfect opportunity to capture all that they hold dear during this chapter in their lives. As said, it’s about stopping to smell the roses. Not the easiest task during life with a newborn baby, but oh so sweet when accomplished.
