1. STORYTELLING FAMILY SESSION

This family session is the perfect way to document a little slice of life. Your families favourite time together, favourite activity, or to simply capture this chapter of your lives, right now!

Go for a walk on your favourite trail together, throw rocks by the river, read your favourite book on your cozy couch, or put on the sprinkler in the backyard and light the bbq. Whatever it is that brings joy to you and is the something you want to hold on to for years to come.

2. ADVENTURE FAMILY SESSION

Perfect for the family that believes that “those that play together, stay together”.

Where is your families favourite place? On your boat during the dog days of summer, swimming in the lake before bedtime to cool down, on the ski hill breathing in the mountain air, or heading up a logging road to get away from it all. Wherever and however your family chooses to adventure, this session is about being along for the ride.

The perfect session for the whole family. Grandma’s, grandpa’s, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Because we’re always better together.

GOT SOME QUESTIONS?

You’ve come this far, which tells me you’re looking for something a little different. You’re looking for something honest. Storytelling sessions are anything but stiff posture and forces smiles. It’s a go with the flow kind of deal. I’m there as a guide when needed, a friend with a camera. My goal is to put you and your family at ease, for the camera to be secondary to the connection. An everyday outing when you can be completely present. The result; photographs of you IN the moment.

It varies depending on the type of session you choose, but storytelling sessions average 50+ per hour and portrait sessions 10-20. All of your photographs will be made available to you via an online gallery delivered right to your email. Ready for download, your edited high resolution files are yours to keep and easy to share with family and friends.

We’ll work together on this one.

We will have a preliminary phone chat to discuss the details of the session. This will include the right location and activity. I’ve got some great places on lock here in Revelstoke if you’re in need of inspiration or recommendations. We’ll find the perfect place for your crew.

What do you love to wear? What makes you feel great in your own skin? What’s your kids go-to outfit of the now? These are photographs of your life now, and your clothing is representative of that. Ignore the trends and the fancy goods, reach for the thing that you love most.

A few tips:

  • no big LOGOS (they are loud in photos)
  • DO NOT MATCH; I mean come on, when do we dress to match our kids?
  • Dress for the activity you’ve chosen for your session. A gown on a hike mind read questionable in your photos, am I right?
