There’s a calmness a new mother often feels when holding her newborn baby. I believe it comes from a true understanding of the measure of real love, raw love, true love.

Seeing this woman become a mother was as much a joy for the people that know her that it was for herself. She has become the person we all knew she would be. She has blossomed in ways that we all could see but was often clouded for herself.

That’s what I want to document with new parents and their tiny little people. It’s’ not just about documenting all the tiny, beautiful features of their babies, but it’s about documenting a life renewed, a new chapter, a fresh tapped source within ourselves. Life isn’t just snuggles and head sniffs with babies, loud and messy moments are just as much a part of it, if not more. And these moments deserve to be part of the story too. Because in these moments exist the true beauty of life. The life within the moments.
